  1. We gave the puppet theatre to our granddaughter for her 4th birthday and she was thrilled with it and started playing with it right away. We also got her 2 puppets to go with it. It is very well built and not that hard to put together. It’s very colorful. She was always having her little plush toys “talk” to each other so we feel this will be a very creative toy for her and with the play clock on it, should help her to learn time. She likes “writing” on the chalkboard below too. I would recommend this item.

Agh! I feel cheated LOL. I bought this used from Craigslist back when Amazon had it for WELL over 100 bucks and I’m seeing today it’s way less than that plus free shipping!

Seriously, you can’t beat that, you could’t even make it for close to that.

It’s the perfect height for a 2 year old though we bought it prematurely for our DD when she was just over 1 because it was just so cute, nice vivid colors.

Only issue is the side curtain walls (not the red curtains on front) are secured with dowels on the base of the unit and if you bump the curtain the dowels are always popping out so we will need to glue them in.

This puppet show theatre is much sturdier than the others I’ve seen, probably because it doesn’t fold down. My 3 year old daughter loves it and I love that it allows her to be creative and make up her own stories. My 5 1/2 year old son wasn’t really interested in it so it’s probably more for ages 3-5.

  4. We purchased this item through Amazon from as a Christmas presant from Fat Brain Toys, a great vendor who kept us aprised of order and delivery status throughout the transaction, then contacted us concerning our satisfaction with their service. The theater is sturdy, stable and of very acceptable material. The clock, curtains and chalkboard are nice touches and seem to get a lot more attention from the kids than I would have predicted. The assembly instructions are quite explicit and were very easy to follow. The stage is the right height for kids 3 to six.

I bought this product about a year ago for my children (now 3 & 2 years old). They got very little use out of it at first, other than tipping it over on one another. The “chalk board” part is difficult to write on. It is too slick or something for the chalk, even after I primed it. They really haven’t noticed that part, though. It went together fairly easy, though you have to follow the instructions precisely! (And go in the exact order they have it in.) They like putting on silly shows now and like it when I put on shows for them. I wish it didn’t tip, but at least it isn’t heavy and doesn’t hurt anyone when it falls. It is also rather large, so you probably want to think about where it will go, since once it is together, its together! (Doesn’t fold or slightly come apart for storage.) The sides are cloth panels. I wasn’t exactly expecting that, but it isn’t a bad thing- I just didn’t realize it until I took it out of the box! I also like that it has a clock on it, because the kids were suddenly interested in clocks and time! It has taken numerous tumbles and withstood the beatings that two toddlers can dish up. A year later and it still looks like new.
