I ordered this product (Folkmanis Sequoia Tree w/ Finger Puppets) for my nephew for Christmas. Upon receiving it, I was absolutely thrilled with the detail and quality of the piece. It’s one of the nicest sets I’ve seen! Your hand goes up into the trunk, so that the tree becomes a miniature puppet theater for the animals. Throughout the entire tree (even up in the green foliage part) there are several holes for the animals to peep out of. Some of the ones on the trunk are visible in the photos, but the ones up in the branches were a fun surprise.
Needless to say, he loved it even more that I or his parents loved it. After playing with it for the entire day, he gave the sturdy-yet-soft little tree a big hug. I would highly recommend it, but would also caution that the little puppets could potentially be lost– though we were just putting them in the trunk and that worked for us.
